Difficulty Buying KR Pass

Hello,

I%26#39;m having a problem buying a KR Pass.

First, a travel agent told me I could just buy it in Korea. Is this true, or must I buy it before arriving there?

Second, the buying online links do not go through on korail.com. Anyone else have this problem?

Third, I called STA Travel, which is linked on their website, but they gave me a price (Saver 3-day Pass) of $84 per person, whereas the korail website says it%26#39;s $61 for that pass. Any ideas?

Yep. This is the form I have filled out over and over again...only to have it not go through. It keeps asking me for my passport number, name, and email, even though I already filled in all of the boxes.

I have made one fake reservation. It worked. My reservation number is 0900000783.

I think you are supposed not to put any other characters other than alphabet.

Well, I have to enter my passport number, which is numbers. I read on another forum that I needed to use Internet Explorer with a PC (I have a Mac and Safari/Firefox), so I tried that today from work. But it still didn%26#39;t let me put it in.

Maybe because I%26#39;m trying to do a saver pass? For that, I put in my name and passport number as well as that of my husband at the bottom, with the number of savers being 2.

Hope this works for you, as I too took over hours to figure this simple issue out with saver pass..

My issue was I re-enter my information again as a saver passenger when I already enter my information under personal information. This site is program to already note that as 1 passenger, not simply personal information.

So, if you are trying to purchase a saver pass for you and your husband... enter your information on ';personal information'; area, then select ';1'; from drop down for saver passenger, then enter your husband. This will total 2 passenger. If there are additional in your party, increase number and enter info as needed.. but you do not need to enter your info again as a saver passenger, hence the error.

Your spouse is then ';passenger 1';.

Here, the word ';passenger'; means '; people accompanying the card holder'; (I know that%26#39;s not what it means in English!! but that%26#39;s what THEY mean)
