My daughter is going to South Korea (Taegu) for a one year teachng assignment. Does anyone have any hints or tips regarding insurance cover for her possessions out there - not hugely valuable - but normal personal stuff including a laptop and SLR camera.
Also - until health insurance from her job kicks in - she might need some sort of cover in case something bad happens. Can she buy insurance cover - eg travel insurance - here in the UK to cover for a one year trip??

I%26#39;m not very sure but I heard that you can get insurance cover in Korea if you have an alien registration card here. Otherwise you should cover your insurance from your counrty.
