Staying at Sauna Houses or 'jjimjilbahngs'?

Hi, can anyone tell me about staying at the sauna houses? I was curious as to what the sleeping rooms are like, big shared rooms, or little rooms for two or... ? i have heard that they are cheaper than staying in a hotel or hostel.

Does anyone have information?

thanks!

It%26#39;s just one big one room where many people can sleep. There is no bed or futon. Just some wooden block for head rest or if you are lucky you can score easy lounger, though I found it%26#39;s very popular among locals. Some Korean travelers use jimjilbang to cheap alternative to sleep for one night. If you stay in long-term, you may get asked to leave or re-check-in. Choose a big bustling place (24 hr open place), so you won%26#39;t get easily spotted if you are staying there long.

oh, that%26#39;s weird. i thought they would have beds, maybe for addiitional fees. i%26#39;ve been told the bath houses in shanghai are like that. people are welcome to sleep after paying for services.
