Going to Seoul 28 April till 3rd May 2009

I and some friends will be going to Seoul for a 6 day 4 nights tour to Seoul, Korea. How will the weather be then? We are following a group tour. The tour agency told us that it will be the end of cherry blossom and all the flowers would have withered. What a pity then, as we can%26#39;t make it earlier.

What is the currency exchange with the Malasian ringgit? What are the souvenirs or any tid bits that I should buy back to Malaysia? Are things expensive in Korea?

i guess since u are following the tour, it is virtually very hectic for this kind of tour which you would not have much time to go for shopping..even shopping, they will bring u to those high-end mkt for shopping...unless u extend your stay after the tour ends and do DIY, then, u would have much more time to see seoul and experience it fruitfully....';tailor-made'; tour is good in a sense that u got to see many places in one go (also depends what ur itenery is)..but the best chunk of it is in seoul, like dongdaemun, namdaemun %26amp; myeongdong mkt, the Namsan Seoul Tower, Insadong.., the Suwon...etc..

Celine. The weather should be pretty nice, maybe a bit chilly but it just depends. You%26#39;re going at a good time. The cherry blossoms would be nice but there are plenty of other things to do and see. You should check out namsan tower at night, if you%26#39;re into shopping you have to go to dongdaemun and namdaemun. I hate to say it but you can often find good fakes at itaewon. I don%26#39;t know how young you are but you should check out the nightlife near Yonsei University, very lively and great places. Eat at any bbq place, they%26#39;re all so delish. Things are cheap in Korea.
