Worst service by 33-15 Myeongryun Dong 1-Ga,Jongno-gu,Seoul

We (4persons) had planned to stay at Myeongryun Dong 1-Ga,Jongno-gu,Seoul friend house for 6 nights. We arrived in the evening and it was slightly difficult to find, because the map provide by the friendhouse was not clearly stated.It was a business sign that was way up high in a dark alley.Weather temp was -10C.

We was informed though the website 1 day before we arrival that the room that we had booked that comes with 2 sets of double deck beds was under renovation. Thus, they will provides us with another room that we have to sleep on the blankets.

Seriously, of course we dont mind at all.

We did stated that no dogs allowed.

The moment we strp into the house and room,we felt that the exterior of the building was very old, it did not look like the nice white walls as shown on the website.

Everything in the room was very old and dusty.We was given 3 thin blankets despite the owner knew we are booking for a room for 4 pax.They still has the guts to tell us to get 1 more room.Instaed, we asked for 1 more blanket.

The blanket given had yellow stains... We saw a small cockroach in the room.

The owner did not set our room temperature to warm, it was cold and freezing especially at night in the room and the bathroom.

There is no real separate shower within the bathroom, only a shower head and it smelled.

We did search for the so called room that was under renovation but found nothing.Many of the other rooms were unoccupied.

All our 6 day beadfast time, we are either shouting,screaming or running around the dinning room.Why??Its is because the owner let her 2 dogsout in the dinning room.She will only start to react to called her dogs when we shouted.

During our last 2 day stay while we are having our breadfast,the old auntie owner and old auntie maid was demanding for the room payment.They are not willing to wait till we finish our meals.

Overall, the place of interest in korea,Seoul is good and fun.

But the Myeongryun Dong 1-Ga,Jongno-gu,Seoul friend house was bad,horrible,terrible,disgusting and no other comments.

I highly do not recommend anyone staying here.No way!!

During my next visit to Seoul, I will never come back to the Myeongryun Dong 1-Ga,Jongno-gu,Seoul friendhouse again.Never..

I will suggest that it will be best to book a hotel unless you have friends to strongly recommend you a friend house to stay.

Ummmm... Interesting post. Name of the guesthouse please, and did you just stumble upon it, was it set up by a tour company, or what? A little more info would help me sort this out for you...

It is really a bad experience to us and reflect a poor image.

They are not being customer mania or they are not well educated to understading what is called SERVICE.
