We are a family of 4. Two adults, one child 6 and an infant. We are going to Seoul for two weeks in Dec-Jan. We are chosing between Sofitel Amb, and JW Marriott. We are looking for a childfriendly hotel, good indoor swimmingpool, a good gym and simple availability of authentic Korean Streetfood as well as nice shopping, not fancy shopping.
Could any of you experienced people out there tell me wich would be the best option for us. And does anybody have any experience of the renovation that goes on at the JW?

sofitel vs JWi was born in seoul and know many things about seoul though i live in the uk now.
regarding the facilities and quality, jw marriott would be obviously better choise than sofitel.
however sofitel%26#39;s location is much much better than jw.
if you stay in sofitel you can easily reach to central district of seoul, many shopping mall, historic places as well.
but if in jw, you can only see so many and huge size of apratmetn.
the only advatage of the jw is it is close to the city%26#39;s coach station which can make you depart all over the south korea. that%26#39;s all.
i%26#39;ve heard recently sofitel moved up to 5 star graded from 4 in korea.
hence i think sofitel would be much better for your family.
