Hi all,
Does anyone know if Asiana Air offers complimentary slcoholic beverages on long haul flights from the US?
Just curious...have a flight coming up :)
Thanks!
AsianaOh yes! I believe it%26#39;s beer and wine in economy and the sky%26#39;s the limit in higher classes. I fly Asiana to Vietnam and it%26#39;s pure heaven - a really neat little airline. Many people prefer the service over Singapore%26#39;s since the FA%26#39;s are more down to earth. You should go to the Asiana Club section over on Flyertalk for more Asiana news.
happy contrails!
AsianaI always fly OZ (Asiana). What class do you fly, and do you know what aircraft type?
thanks! i will be flying the regular class...so i guess just beer and wine for me! ;)
';travel class';?; you%26#39;ll get 34 inch seat pitch; maybe also AVOD for entertainment depending on where you%26#39;re flying from/ to. I think you fly on a 777, of which 50 per cent have this feature.
Try the Korean meal- bibimbap (hot rice to which you add beef and veggies on your own plate).
be prepared for ';The Delighters';, who will make up faces of female passengers, and give moisturising masks to male pax, in all classes.
Great Question. Asiana is great. Customer oriented, pro, new, all, the way it is here (Asia) and the way it always should be. You will enjoy that long haul. However, to differ from the previous poster, bibimpop (fried rice with veggies and red pepper paste) is good but you%26#39;ll have plenty of that in Asia wherever you go... Go beef and red wine (bottomless...)... Have your bibimbop in Insadong, not on the long haul.... Enjoy...
thanks!
my family and i do not eat beef, but we eat everything else. Should we call asiana and make sure that they note our dietary restrictions?
I would reserve a special meal if I were you - just one word of caution. The seafood breakfast, if offered, should always be declined - at all cost! Can you imagine seafood warming for 10-12 hours?
just to clarify: bibimbap as served on Asiana is boiled rice, served with side dishes, and with vegetables AND beef in separate dishes that you put into the hot rice together with hot pepper paste.
Note the beef; so you%26#39;ll want to try to get a special meal.
I%26#39;ve tried, and regret to say that it didn%26#39;t work.
However the crew made up sandwiches (cheese)to allow my travelling companion to eat.
