Seoul-Jeju-Gyeonju-Seoraksan itinerary help

My wife and I are planning a trip to Korea for 10 days in May/June. What do you all think of the following itinerary?

3 nights on Jeju

Fly from Jeju to Gyeonju (is this possible?) and then 2 nights in Gyeonju

Bus to Seoraksan from Gyeonju (is this possible?) and then 2 nights in Sokcho

Final 3 nights in Seoul

Thanks in advance!

You can fly from Jeju to Busan and, I think, Ulsan.

From either you can get a bus to Gyeongju(if that%26#39;s where you mean; there are lots of places with very similar names but no';Gyeonju';).

Bus to Seorak mountain : I don%26#39;t think that%26#39;s easy. I think there MAY be a direct bus, but if so it%26#39;s not frequent. You%26#39;d probably be better to take a train or bus into Seoul and change.

no direct bus that I can see. Train from Gyeongju to Gangneung seems your best option.

It%26#39;s rather hectic but possible. You can fly from Jeju to Busan, then take shuttle bus to Gyeongju. I heard you can take the bus from Kimhae (airport for Busan) airport. So that leg would takes about 2-3 hrs.

You could spend all day traveling from Gyeongju to Sokcho, since it takes about 5 hr from Gyeongju to Seoul, then another 4hrs from Seoul to Sokcho. Sorry as ethelmann mentioned earlier, it%26#39;s quite hard to find direct public transportation between two cities without going through Seoul. Consolation for you is that you can experience KTX (bullet train) ride (you take local train from Gyeongju to Daegu, then exchange to KTX at Daegu to Seoul.) Bus journey from Seoul to Sokcho is going through very beautiful mountain sceneries.
