Any hotels in Myeong-Dong area ??

Would like to know if there%26#39;s any hotels located in Myeong-Dong area that is directly on top of Metro Station?? Id so, what will be the hotel and metro station name as well??

sorry; your question not quite clear: do you mean ';very close to'; or do you mean actually AT a metro station?

If the latter, then I don%26#39;t think there is.

Ibis is about 5 mins walk from Euljiro-1-ga station; I%26#39;m told Biz hotel is close to Euljiro-3-ga station but haven%26#39;t ever been able to find it.

Prince is pretty close to Myeongdong station, as is Sejong and Savoy is about 3 mins walk from there.

Sejong is, I think, on an airport bus route.

Check this information, though, as people tell me my information is out of date.

Lotte is high class hotel about 3min walk from Subway line 2 Euljiro 1-ga station. It%26#39;s about 5 min walking distance from Myeong Dong area. There is also a huge Lotte department store next to hotel.

The place I%26#39;m staying is 1 minute from the Seodaemun Station subway line 3 (Vabien II - $84.)

It%26#39;s rated quite highly and the airport lime (not KAL) stops right in front of the hotel.

Can recommend the Ibis Myeong Dong which is just across the road from Lotte. OK, you have to go down a long flight of steps to walk under the road and likewise to get up again ( generally there are no escalators). Don%26#39;t think you will get anything ';directly'; on top of a subway. Anyway, 5 or 10 minutes walk is nothing.

Why not try homestay or guesthouse?? there are quite afew near myeong dong area and they are cheap and nice!

Frommer%26#39;s 2008 also like the Ibis MD - ';Set in a fantastic location near the shopping district of MD, this hotel is an exceptional value for the price.'; I believe that all rooms are high up since the lobby is on the 19th floor. Frommer%26#39;s also give 3 stars to Vabien II except that%26#39;s listed under Jongno.
