My wife and I will stay in South Korea from February 14-20, 2009 and would like to experience as much as possible. What would our dear tripadvisor fellows suggest us to do? We would like to travel on our own (public transport or car rental) and we are more interested in people and life than in museums and monuments, but of course we would like to see the most important ones.
As we are only there for 6 nights - how long should we stay in Seoul and, if any, which other places are worth visiting in that short time?
Any help for our planning is highly appreciated!

6 Days in February - what should we do?I think you%26#39;d better move your posting to Seoul forum where many people who have travelled Korea could give you some advices. If I were you, though I am Korean, I would spend 3 nights in Seoul and 1-2 nights in Gyoungju (Kyoungju) and other 1 night back in Seoul but travel outside of seoul. Any combination would be o.k.according to your itinerary. Visit the websites below and make an approx.timetable based on your favorites then revise your schedule while referring to the comments from other advisors.
