travelling to Seoul in July for a 6 nite business trip, Can anyone please tell me the approx distance from Novetel Ambassador hotel, Gangnam, to the Namdaemon area,Dont mind cabbing it but dont want to be too far away, many thanks

By map, it is 9 Km away from Novotel Gangnam. It takes about 15 - 20 min by taxi. The fare gonna be less than 10,000 won. And you can have lots of good food and fun at Gangnam station area, too. It is 10 min by foot.

Take the green line (outer circle) from Samseong station close to Novotel. Change at Dongdaemun stadium to line 4 and get off at Hohyeon. The market is right there. 120 Won, and you won%26#39;t be stuck in traffic like you are likely to be in a cab
umm..your cab price will probably me more than 10,000won even without traffic. Your hotel is located where terrible traffic is, not to mention that namdaemun is not too much better either. If you take a cab, you will be bored in the car most of the time no to mention that the fare will be in the range of 20,000 considering the casual traffic in that part of town. I suggest you take the subway or the bus (the bus lane is faster). It will save you time and cost.
